This event is a GB Selection Event for Euros 2025 and attract GB ranking points as well as Scottish Ranking Race points.
N.B You need to be a full member of a National Association to gain GB ranking points at this event.

Sprint event – Saturday 26th April – River Tay, Grandtully rapids
Get on: Walk approximately 100m up the footpath beside the river at Grandtully Rapids.
Sprint Start: Eddy, south side of river, above main Grandtully fall (in the same vicinity as the start point used in previous years races).
Sprint Finish: At the road bridge which crosses the river at Grandtully.

Race Start: 1st run 12:00, 2nd run 14:00

● Saturday 1000-1100 bib collection. Briefing will be provided when collecting your bib.
● Saturday 1600-1700 bib collection and return

River Grade & Hazards: 3 (4 in Flood)
Suitable for Novice: No

Classic event – Sunday 27th April – River Tay, from Edradynate to Grandtully
Pre-start:Get on at Aberfeldy Slalom Course by the cemetery/Beyond Adventure
Classic Start: North side of the river at Edradynate
Classic Finish: Below bottom falls. The finish line will be close to the exit ramp , several hundred metres below the Grandtully road bridge(therefore the classic course will include the bottom falls

Race Start: 10:00  There is a pre-start paddle for the Classic event. It takes around 20-25 minutes to reach the Classic start – depending on craft, river flow etc.

● Sunday 0830-0900 – bib collection. Return bib immediately after the run.

River Grade & Hazards: 3 (4 in Flood)
Suitable for Novice: No

Entries On The Day: No late entries are accepted

Payment Details: entry fee covers all races entered for the weekend. It also covers use of the Car park at Grandtully campsite, and use of toilets and changing rooms
