Fury at the Weir – Harefield Wildwater Race
November 30
Region: London

Distance: 350 Meters
River Grade & Hazards: The race kicks off at Coppermill Lock, taking paddlers towards the weir where they’ll break into the flow, navigate under the road bridge, and head downstream towards the white footbridge, marking the race finish. This course spans approximately 350 meters. While the canal remains largely flat, paddlers will encounter some waves near the weir (river left). Paddlers should be aware of potential canal traffic on the water; it’s advised to keep right, ensuring that their left side passes the canal boats’ left side for safety.
