The Wild Water Racing community is hugely saddened and shocked to learn of the sudden passing of Scott Ritchie, a key and popular member of the Wild Water Racing Family and Team. He tragically passed away in hospital on Saturday after suddenly falling unwell at home.

Scott was an extremely ambitious and talented young paddler who has been a regular member of the Junior and Senior World and European Championship teams in recent years.

A great guy to train and paddle with.

We are deeply saddened by this news. Our thoughts and best wishes go out to Scott’s family, friends, fellow athletes and coaches at this time of great loss.

Funeral will be held on Friday 27th September at Kelvinbridge Parish Church at 10.00, then onto Glasgow Crematorium in Lambhill, G23 5AA at 11.15 and onto The Terrace at Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel on Byers Road
