Crake River Regional and Wavehopper Race

Crake River Race – Sunday Nov 18th 2018

 An easy race aimed at introducing new comers to wild water racing.

 The race will be held on the lower part of the River Crake (at low tide).

 The river here has a slight flow for most of its length finishing with a shoot over an old weir.

 The race may be run in any type of canoe/kayak suitable for the water conditions, but paddlers are encouraged to take this opportunity to try out Wavehopper or DCC K1, C1 C2 WWR boats.

 The race will be held on Sunday afternoon – with practice time beforehand if you can make it. We will meet at 1.00pm, allowing competitors new to the sport, time to experience shooting the weir.

 Date :- Sunday Nov 18th – Racing Starting promptly at 2.00pm. Entries on the day, no later than 1.30pm

 Entry Fee £1 per seat per race.

 There will be certificates for age group winners.
