Our thoughts and prayers are with Dave Kay's family and friends at this sad time.
Dave was one of the founding fathers of modern River Racing in Great Britain. He was a highly inspirational and enthusiastic force behind wild water racing in GB. He produced an invaluable and entertaining newsletter, organised events and in particular pushed all the aspiring mens K1s on.
This was the period when Ian and Alan Tordoff and Neil Stamps were starting to race. He was also one of the people behind the Wavehopper concept and getting it manufactured, to help bring more people into our sport.
Dave's funeral is today, Tues 13th Sept, 12:00 Midday .
